Indian Telly Awards introduces Rules and Regulations in booklet form

MUMBAI: Taking a step in further professionalizing and institutionalizing the Indian Telly Awards, Indian Television Dot Com has become the first in the television space to introduce the rules and regulations for entering the awards in a booklet form. This is the standard that is followed amongst most international awards competitions.

Says Anil Wanvari: “We wanted to make things easier for those entering awards. We hope the booklet will really meet that need and will be appreciated by industry. Our endeavour is to provide the trade a handy compendium which can be referred to time and again.”

The Indian Telly Awards are the first ever awards – after the Onida Pinnacle Awards in the early nineties – to be instituted for the television industry. The first Indian Telly Awards were held in Mumbai’s Oberoi Hotel on 6 July 2001. The awards were instituted with the support of the leading entertainment channels, Star, Sony, Zee and Channel Nine, by Anil Wanvari, a veteran media professional.
