Dharam Gulati :
Dharam Gulati graduated from the Film and Television Institute of India in 1983 with a specialisation in cinematography. Since then he has been working as a cinematographer in the Mumbai film industry. He has worked with. some of the well know directors like Ramesh Sippy, Vinod Chopra, Ketan Mehta, Pankaj Parashar, Lekh Tondon, Kalpna Lajmi. His first feature film called Goonj was the nominated for Filmfare awards in the category of the Best critics award. His second film Rudali won three National awards. Recently he photographed an English film called The Perfect Husband which is directed by Priya Paul Singh and was shown in Cannes film festival this year (2003). The film is slated to be released soon.

Apart from all this he has also done a lot of TV serials, ads and corporate films. On television he has done serials like Kismat, Gaatha, Ab Aayega Mazaa, Gadbad Gudde, Capt. Vyom. One of his public service film Anti Dog Killing has won the IAFA Award. His documentary Benefit For Whom At Whose Cost has got the National Award for the Best Environmental Film. He has also done music videos with Mahesh Bhatt, Tanuja Chandra and Glen Perry (UK).


Lekh Tandon :

Ace director of blockbuster films like Amrapali, Agar Tum Na Hote and Prince, Lekh Tandon made his directorial debut in 1961 with Professor which was a runaway hit. A string of hits like Dulhan Wohi Jo Piya Man Bhaye, Jhuk Gaya Aasmaan, Doosri Dulhan and Khuda Kasam subsequently followed. He plunged into directing serials after a while and won laurels for that too.

His serial Phir Wahi Talaash got the President's Best Serial of the year award. Some of the other popular serials directed by him comprise Dil Daryaa, Doosra Kewal, Daraar, Farmaan, Kurukshetra, Adhikaar, Khushi and Milan. His latest serial Yaarana is due to telecast soon.


Prasoon Joshi :

McCann Erickson's national creative director and executive VP Prasoon Joshi is one India's top advertising professionals. In a span of 11 years he has won accolades for his ingenious campaigns. He joined Ogilvy & Mather as a junior writer and rose to become their creative director. With more than 100 National and International Advertising Awards in his kitty, his recent victory was at the most acclaimed International Festival at Cannes where two of his ads for Coca Cola won him the Gold Lion.
Joshi's creativity finds expression in worlds apart from advertising. He is a poet, a lyricist and a musician. His music albums Boondein, Ab Ke Sawaan, Mann Ke Manjeeray, Sapna Dekha Hai have been widely acclaimed. He has also written lyrics for films like Aankhein, Lajja and Kyon. He has also composed and sung many songs and advertising jingles.


Rakesh Sharma :
Rakesh began his film / TV career as an assistant director on Shyam Benegal's Discovery of India. His broadcast industry experience includes the set up/ launch of three channels :Channel [V], Star Plus and Vijay TV (Tamil).

His other assignments include Doordarshan (Consultant - broadcast ops/on-air presentation), TV Today ( Executive Producer, Poll'98, Live election results and analysis show), Zee Gold, USA ( on-air presentation) and as project consultant for several production companies. He has now gone back to independent documentary film-making and his last film Aftershocks: The Rough Guide to Democracy has won 10 international awards including the prestigious Robert Flaherty prize in 2002.

Rathikant Basu :
Rathikant Basu is the promoter of Broadcast Worldwide Pvt Ltd, having a quality regional channel, TARA Bangla which is widely available in West Bengal and Bangladesh. He has been singularly responsible for revolutionising television viewing in India with innovative and quality programming as Doordarshan's director general and as Star TV India's CEO and Executive Chairman.
At Doordarshan, Basu is credited with many important innovations and for introducing high quality entertainment and infotainment in the Indian television industry. Doordarshan's sister channel, the hugely successful DD Metro was conceptualised and launched by him. He joined News Corporation in October 1996.
At Star TV, Basu changed the face of satellite television in India from a foreign medium to a friendlier Indian avatar in the form of Star Plus which is today a leading Hindi satellite channel. Star News, which was conceived and launched by Basu, is the country's first and most successful 24-hour news channel today. As Newscorp's 'senior most official' in the subcontinent, Basu has been responsible for all of Star TV and News Corporation's business activities throughout the region.

Kiran Joneja :

Kiran Joneja -Director Kiran Chitra enterprises, chosen Miss India while in college, started her modelling career in 1980, modelled for top brands like Vimal, Nivea, and Lakme etc. Started her acting career with the indo Italian film Shahleen thereby moving ahead in her acting career with films like AMBA, HUM SHAKAL, AKAYLA, and BUNTY AND BUBLI.

Currently working in serials like Kuch Love Kuch Masti on Sahara and Koi Dil Mein Hai on Sony. Presently training under her husband Mr.Ramesh Sippy in the direction and production department, this lady sure is multi faceted.

Mona Kapoor :
Mona Shourie Kapoor, Director - Creative 37, has had a multi faceted career, she has successfully handled the manpower for 'Business Aids' & 'Machine Exports', in which she is a partner. As a director of FCL, she has been the production co-ordinator for the films 'Sheesha' & 'Farishtey'. She has been associated with the production of all the music based programmes. She has been responsible for conceptualizing the special programme 'Nari Ek Shakti' on DD1 on the occasion of International Women's Day. Apart from this, she is also a director in M/s. Crownstar Communication Pvt. Ltd. She carries with her a wealth of contacts and an almost instant rapport with film & media personalities. An able administrator and personnel co-ordinator, she is the key to the success of the company.

Gayatri Rao :
Gayatri Rao, Director of Raju & I, the first Indian animation film to be critically acclaimed in over 25 festivals around the world, the co-founder and director of Animagic Special Effects Pvt. Ltd. One of India's leading animation studios where the focus on creativity and originality has been zealously nurtured. The studio is involved with visual development, special effects and titles for feature films such as Hey Ram, Josh, Munnabhai MBBS.
She extends the scope of her work beyond animation into book design and children's book illustration as well. Currently busy in the designing and development of animation feature projects. She is also the founder of Rawworks-a project to help rejuvenate some of India's rich yet largely untapped folk and tribal arts.

Goldie Behl :
Mr. Goldie Behl is among the two directors of the company, "ROSE AUDIO VISUALS PVT. LTD." that is engaged in the business of making television software.
He is the son of the renowned filmmaker, Mr. Ramesh Behl, who had produced such memorable films such as "THE TRAIN", "JAWANI DIWANI" and "KASME VAADE" amongst several others under the banner of ROSE MOVIES.

He undertook his initial training under his father. Upon his untimely demise, the children took it upon themselves to complete his then under production film, "INDRAJEET" starring Amitabh Bachchan. After its creditable release, they went on to successfully produce two more feature films, namely, "ANGAARAY" starring Akshay Kumar and "BAS ITNA SA KHWAAB HAI…" staring Abhishek Bachchan.

The latter also marked the critically acclaimed debut of Goldie Behl as director.
Today, with rich and varied experience in the respective field, he has come to fruitfully synergies and channalize his respective energy and has ventured to form the company under the name and style of "ROSE AUDIO VISUALS PVT. LTD."

Ruby Bhatia :

There isn't much Ruby Bhatia hasn't accomplished. A jazz ballet dancer, winner of Miss India- Canada pageant, a model, a VJ, an anchor and now she is a film and television actress. Life has come a full circle for Ruby Bhatia.


Ishan Trivedi :
Ishan Trivedi has done a three years course from National School of Drama. Specialisation in Direction. 1983-86,One year post degree fellowship on Scenic Design,Stage Productions with B. M. Shah, Fritz Bennewitz, Prasanna, Ranjit Kapoor, Amal Allana, Jairajan, B. V. Karanth and many others. He has also taught 'acting' at Parag Vijay Dutt Drama Academy - Mithibai College - 1992-1995.

Among is projects which he has worked on are,71/2 phere, Socha To Na Tha, Ghulam. He was also the Commissioning Editor - Star Plus -1995-96,Commissioning Editor - Zee 1996-97,and has produced a Daily Soap for Zee - 'Ye Dil Kya Kare'

Mahabanoo Mody Kotwal :
Mahabanoo, co owner of Poor Box Productions, is a nationally acclaimed actress, director, and producer. She was most recently seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's much acclaimed epic film BLACK across Amitabh Bachchan and Rani Mukherjee. Recently she made her foray into the world of sit coms playing the loony, lascivious granny Meherbanoo on Sony's comedy hit BATLIWALLA NO. 43.

Her latest venture is a revival of Yasmina Reza's Broadway and London smash hit comedy ART, a play she directed in India almost 10 years ago. ART will premiere November 26 at the main TATA Theatre at the NCPA and then continue al over the city and India.
Eve Ensler's Award winning THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES, directed by her continues to run to house full and standing room only performances after over 106 shows. In 2004 Mahabanoo got to bring down Ensler, along with Oscar winning actresses Jane Fonda and Marisa Tomei to perform the monologues in Mumbai and Delhi with the Indian cast. That effort, titled V DAY INDIA 2004 helped raise money and awareness towards ending violence towards women at every level. To date POOR BOX PRODUCTIONS has given away upwards of Rs. 27 lakhs to shelters that provide for female victims of violence.

Mahabanoo became India's first stand up comedy artist a few years ago and has since performed to rave reviews in Bombay, Pune, Delhi, Hyderabad, and London. Mahabanoo's acting career includes work for the stage, television, radio, and film.

Suchitra Pillai :
Suchitra Pillai a BE Electronics degree holder , has been a presenter on various
TV shows like for music channel Channel V for shows 'Simply South', 'Cabaret' and 'Indian Top 10'. She was also TV Presenter for Cinemascene on Doordarshan for music channel B4U Music for show 'Bollywood Unlimited'. , Host of the Inflight Show for Malaysian Airlines and Host of celebrity talk show 'The Fan Club' on SAB TV.
She has acted the lead in TV shows like: Margarita,Hip Hip Hurray, Raahein, Milte Hain Break Ke Baad, Little Mirchi Thoda Pepper,Papa, Rishtey, X-Zone, Saturday Suspense ,Star Bestsellers,Thriller at 10, Hubahu, Koi dil mein hai to name a few

In the field of theatre and films she has had various lead roles in London as well as India. On radio not only has been a radio jockey for various shows but has also participated in various dramas She has hosted various events like Channel V Live Shows ,Pepsi W2K Concerts, South Filmfare Awards for three consecutive years,Sansui Awards - Curtain Raiser, Gladrags Megamodel - Curtain Raiser, Femina Bridal Show as well as Corporate Events. She has also hosted fashion shows in India and Dubai for designers like Arjun Khanna, Sabhyasachi Mukherjee, etc.

Besides all this in the field of music she has also trained in South Indian Carnatic vocals and classical North Indian vocals. She has Performed on albums for Talvin Singh, Kula Shaker and Rashid Taha. She has sung on TV shows like Top of the Pops, The White Room and TFI Fridays, and has also appeared in music videos for artists like Bally Sagoo, Apache Indian, Oasis and Basia.

Yunus Bukhari :
Yunus Bukhari who has done his masters in science is Executed Visual effects for many Films, Commercials & Television Productions .He started his career in theater activities since 1978 in Karnataka where he acted on stage for a number of play.From three he moved on to work as an associate director for various serials Like Malgudi Days,Mansa and the Magic of K.S.Ramesh then moved on to movies like Jokumarswami, Chamatkar, Hanthaka.

From here he moved on to Advertising where his repoitre included making corporate films, Documentaries Infomercial, T.V. Commercials and Print Media. He has produced and directed various Commercials, Documentaries, Corporate films, Television Serials & Feature films including Visual Effects for both small & big screens.in India as well as abroad. Some of the projects handled by him as creative director include films like Devdas, Koi Mil Gaya, Indra ,Waqt ,Rakht, Khel, ,Baaz ,Deh ,Viruddh , White Noise - English(Indian), Stumble ( English - Kannada )

In television he has worked on Josh - was the most expensive TV software on Star Plus as well as Saara Akaash - on Star Plus. He also has a number of successful ad films to his credit for numerous brands.


Hansal Mehta :

For a computer engineer, Hansal Mehta has come a long way from his TV days to completing his first commercial film - 'Dil Pe Mat Le Yaar'.


B. M. Vyas :
B. M. Vyas, best known for his scripts of Bharat Ek Khoj, Circus and Gaatha, had the participants in splits with his wry and witty talk that touched upon the social, economic and psychological aspects of TV scriptwriting and the writer's responsibility towards viewers. The art of scriptwriting, he said, need not be shrouded in secrecy, as it has been for several years now. Drama, that forms a key element of ordinary lives, should be reflected in television writing, that closely identifies with people's lives, he said.

Priya Singh Paul :
Trained in filmmaking in India and the US, this young Mumbai filmmaker has built a considerable reputation for herself in India's competitive and demanding television scene.

The Perfect Husband is the debut feature film of Priya Ruth Singh Paul, an Indian-Jewish filmmaker.
